MIST is the Minimum Industry Safety Training course that was introduced to the North Sea in 2009, and is specifically used in the UK Continental Shelf (UKCS), to provide all workers travelling offshore with basic safety awareness, in order to reduce the risk of accidents and injury. An OPITO-approved standard, the Atlas Knowledge training has been completed more than 159, 000 times. The online refresher course can be completed at any time and in any location, as long as there is an internet connection. You are not restricted to complete the course in one sitting as your progress will be saved as you go through the course. This means you can exit out and log back in at a later date to complete the course from where you left off. You will need to have this completed before you go offshore.
