Occupational health risk assessment (OHRA) as an integral part of the process of health risk management in its operations. It must also be emphasised that occupational health risk assessment is not synonymous with hazard identification and risk assessment. The intent of the health risk assessment is to comprehensively identify health hazards, assess their potential risks to health, establish priority levels and determine appropriate controls. Our team can use the assessment results to establish health risk profiles for risk based medical surveillance, risk based control measures, education and training of health risks, worker medical case management and further occupational or industrial hygiene monitoring.
