Overview

The NEBOSH International Diploma is modelled on the NEBOSH National Diploma. The key difference is the application of legal requirements. Rather than being guided by UK legislation, the NEBOSH International Diploma takes a risk management approach based on best practice and international standards, such as the International Labour Organisation (ILO) codes of practice. Local laws and cultural factors are also included when appropriate.

It’s this global best practice approach which helps make sure people all around the world are working to the same high standards.
