Course Assessment
There is a 45-minute written assessment, consisting of 30 questions in a variety of formats, and a standard project which comprises of a workplace risk assessment. The project must be completed within two weeks of the end of the course.
This course provides insight on work-related and non-work-related illness that can impact the individuals and on their organisation. They’ll also be equipped with techniques to evaluate the health and wellbeing of their team and taught how to deliver effective support to keep their teams healthy at work.
Course Overview:
IOSH Managing Occupational Health and Wellbeing is targeted at line managers and offers them practical advice to manage health risks and understand their responsibilities for the health and wellbeing of staff. It equips line managers with the basic tools and techniques to play their part in improving health and wellbeing across their organisation.

How is the course assessed?
At the end of the course, there is a short 20 questions test, which takes around 20 minutes. There is also a practical workplace health risk assessment to be completed within 2 weeks of passing the test.
IOSH Working Safely covers the essentials of health and safety in the workplace. It is aimed at all workers in all types of organisation. Upon successful completion of the course and assessment, students are awarded a Working Safely certificate from the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH), the world’s largest health and safety membership organisation.

The IOSH Working Safely course is recognised as an equivalent to a level 1 award in health and safety in a construction environment.

There is a 10 question (15 mins) multiple-choice assessment and 3 hazard spotting exercises (15 mins) at the end of the course. On successful completion of the assessment you will be awarded an IOSH Certificate or a credit card sized IOSH passport card.
